Genre: Smooth Jazz
The Good: The end of this album finds the horns really picking up. It’s really smooth and sets the tone really nice for relaxation. “The Moment” is probably the best track on here. It sounds like something the great Barry White would sing over with a funky bass similar to his “Staying Power”. The hook is just impeccably groovy.
The Bad: The beginning of this album seems a bit too elevator music or weather channel appropriate. Maybe it just takes a few songs to get into the mood, but at times the style of this seems too 1980s. That may be your thing, but not for everyone.
