The Good: Star Wars is a quirky journey through an alt rock landscape full of weird twists and turns and surprises. It is both emotional and airy, intricate and inviting, and overall a nice album for lazy summer days. Wilco are as relaxed and confident in their music as they deserve to be and that is really nice to hear. Also, the album is free (http://wilcoworld.net/) which makes it 100% worth your time.
The Bad: The album can be a bit lyrically and musically dense and despite multiple listens I still feel like I need more to unravel all of it. If there is some deeper meaning then I imagine the experience will be very rewarding but if there isn’t and it’s just mindless mysticism then I will probably feel slightly cheated.
