The Good: I never understood why The XX became so popular a few years ago. A few of their songs were catchy and I admired how they did so with very simplistic guitar. However, it wasn’t an album I would come back to like it was amazing. There was too little going on and not enough drive as well. This small set of songs from the lead singer, however, is pretty good. We have a lot going on n only four songs with interesting electronic sounds mixed together in a light house beat alongside occasional samples of people talking.
The Bad: Make it a longer set next time.
