The Good: For a sound that is often bashed for trying to hard to be too cool, this album does a good job of resisting such a cliche. It’s somewhere in between classic rock, hard rock, and metal. The opening song is probably the best for this mix. At times the drums are being driven as a normal rock song and then they change into some pedal stomping with the guitar moving everywhere. It’s actually a very awesome display of sound. The vocals are quite great too, mixing Celtic in different songs. Very original when placed in a metal framework and something about the vocals actually works without it sounding corny.
